After you've taken in a W and your voice is horse from yelling "Goooooo… “…Dawgs! Sic ‘Em! Woof! Woof! Woof!” it's time to continue the party with a post game libation at the Nowhere Bar to shoot some pool, and maybe even catch your first taste of live music for the evening. You can probably also catch some late afternoon/early evening SEC games where you root for your fellow SEC rivals to both lose...

Athens is so loaded with live music, that you may just have to split time and head out a little early from the Georgia Theatre and sprint over to the 40 Watt to see an up and coming Indie Rock Band. Just down the road, Atlanta legends use this as their training grounds, where truly groundbreaking bands like Deerhunter, the Black Lips, and King Khan and the Shrines frequent. Maybe you'll get lucky and another local legendary band that wants to dust off the guitars such as, Drive By Truckers, The Glands, Drivin' n Cryin, or Neutral Milk Hotel or will be playing tonight.

By this point, you're sweaty, legs are jelly, from dancing and partying all night. You decide it might be time to call it a night...but oh wait...you get a text from a bunch of your friends...they're all at the Last Resort and want you to come meet up, so, you take a deep breath, see that's it's 1:00 am, and you head over. You're greeted with high fives, hugs, and a shot. Deja Vu in all the best ways...you're right back where you started. You have some laughs, talk about some things Kirby Smart could have done better with the running game, but then agree, he finally bested Saban, so, best to just let him do his thing...but your last words to some buddies are about the 5 Star Recruit you'd better land next week from South Georgia.
Then, as a handful of your buddies graze by you, they say, we're hitting Little Italy for some pizza...or maybe even an Italian Sub.

Tempting, you thank them...but you actually decide to meet some friends you met earlier at the show at the Waffle House from some smothered and covered....
Life's all about options, and in Athens, there are endless options, but all roads lead to incredible music, incredible food, incredible football...and incredible friends. In Athens, your fate is inevitable...and inevitably fun and unforgettable. Tomorrow, you'll lick your wounds, cheer on your fantasy NFL team, or maybe just rinse and repeat the whole damn thing!
